ALGIERS- The Minister of Mujahideen and rights holders, Laïd Rebiga said, Sunday in Algiers, that with the disappearance of ex-President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Algeria bids farewell to a Mujahid whose history will be remembered for his contribution ".

"Algeria bids farewell to a Mujahid whose contribution history will remember for his contribution, alongside those whose names were engraved in gold letters during the armed struggle", underlined Mr. Rebiga in his funeral oration. the burial ceremony of the Mujahid Abdelaziz Bouteflika in the cemetery of El Alia, in the presence of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, senior State officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the family of the deceased as well as the Mujahedin .

Besides his contribution at the national level, the deceased "established civil harmony, peace and national reconciliation, following the national tragedy which struck the country, causing plagues, destruction and devastation", he declared. added.

"Goes the officer of the National Liberation Army (ALN), Commander Abdelaziz Bouteflika who, after national independence, mobilized among the men of Algeria during this difficult period when the Algerians and the Algerians joined forces. mobilized to build the country after the Glorious War of Liberation ", he continued.

And to add that the deceased "rests today alongside the great figures whose names have been immortalized by their roles, missions and responsibilities that they had assumed in various periods experienced by Algeria after the recovery of national sovereignty ".

The Minister of the Mujahideen affirmed that the Algerians dedicate gratitude and respect to the contributions of the chouhada and of Mujahideen who "have dedicated their life for the nation, History has immortalized them and recorded their names in its eternal register".

"Algeria, for which the chouhada and the Mujahideen fought, is determined to continue its march, strong of the will of its loyal children", he maintained, stressing that "the sacrifices of the generation of the Revolution will remain alive in the memories of the people and their high deeds will adorn, forever, the History of the fatherland ".
